Hello esteemed AAers.

After a month in Europe catching up with family and friends, this afternoon I arrived back in hot and humid Tokyo, conditions set to last for another month, they say. :cry:

A highlight of my stay was my and partner DTTR’s visit to the charming town of Coin to visit scarf. Lunch by the plaza and ice cream on it. Thanks, Tim!

Getting my excuses in early tonight. A 15-hour flight taxed our physical resources to the limit. Of course, Putin’s nonsense meant that we had to go the long way round, but we paid to offset our CO2 emissions, so I hope you’ll cut me some slack on that, Madrid.

My request to the team: bang in 3 or 4 early goals, if it’s all the same to you. To paraphrase the great Robert Plant, “so I can sleep easy, well, well, well, FC’s gonna make it my sleeping day.”

Referee getting some stick form the commentary team. No relation to the city goalkeeper in years past, I suppose? I would hazard that Corrigan was the first goalkeeper to be the butt of the old joke about throwing himself under a bus and missing.
