It's just gone 10am on a wet & windy Isle of Man, though the forecast is brightening up this afternoon, which is good for me as I'm out early to set up for FCIoM's home game v Padiham, our fourth league game of the new season (won 1, lost 2).

Because of the Manx Grand Prix it's the last FCIoM home game until September so I'll be missing today but with you for the next few games.

Let's hope for an exciting season, hopefully promotion via the plays offs & a good cup run reaching at least the first round proper of the FA Cup.....well I can dream can't I?

Unfortunately Glazer came back into my excuse for a brain but last Monday, here in Spain, the op to remove it was a 100% success. I’m not going anywhere just yet.

Here we go, new season, new players, some new teams and maybe some new friends (defo).
Just listening to the match against Worksop back in 2013 when it ended 4 - 4 with Swampy givin' it all.
Hope the season plays out well, following a couple of viewings preseason I expect us to be challenging for promotion.
With a bit of luck and a fair wind I'll be at Broadhurst Park on 9th September for the Bradford Park Avenue match.
Just want to give a big shout-out to Scarf who's gone through some new surgery to get rid of "Glazer".
Seems it went well and he should be back home convalesing, so I hope he'll drop in here this afternoon.
Let's get this season underway and...
