A message from Chair of the board Adrian Seddon reads:
Following our exit from the FA Cup, all first team and women's football activity at the club is now suspended in line with government lock-down restrictions and the suspensions of our leagues. As a educational provider, the academy will continue with an academic and training program but matches are also suspended.
As of Tuesday 10th November the club offices will be closed until further notice following the government restrictions on the opening of sport's stadia and facilities and the stay at home message. There will be no access to the stadium for supporters and the general public during the lock-down (other than one NHS related course which is exempt from the restrictions and the club is working to continue to facilitate) so please do not come to reception or the stadium and seek entry. Staff other than our academy staff will be furloughed with immediate effect. The food hub is needed more than ever in times of lock-down and will continue to service the needs of our community.
With immediate effect the club's phone lines will no longer be manned and only checked sporadically and the main email address
office@fc-utd.co.uk will no longer be regularly monitored. We ask that if your query can wait until after lock-down please don't contact the club at this time. However, any more urgent inquires should be addressed to the following:

Thanks to all of you who helped showcase the club to the country last weekend, especially those who did so knowing they wouldn't get into the game. We can be proud of what we've achieved so far this season on and off the field and we will hopefully soon be back. Stay safe and see you on the other side.
FC's next scheduled game is away to Basford United on December 5th (edit - now postponed)
3rd December c/o Adrian Seddon: It is now confirmed our home fixture against Atherton on 8th Dec is postponed along with all NPL fixtures on that date
4th December: An edited update for supporters c/o Adrian SeddonThe league had been due to resume week commencing 7th December following the end of lock-down. The majority of NPL clubs are now situated in tier 3.
At a meeting of clubs organised by all 3 leagues on Tuesday 1st December, the league confirmed that, unlike the period prior to lock-down, the restrictions on spectators would apply to our level of grassroots football and that, unlike arrangements with Steps 1 & 2 when similar restrictions had prevented them from playing with spectators, no financial support had been offered to compensate clubs at steps 3 & 4. The clubs were asked to vote on a proposal that “that steps 3 and 4 continue the current pause in the season with a regular review in the light of changes to the current Tiers and/or grants becoming available".
The clubs voted overwhelmingly that they could not restart under the current conditions imposed on us so all step 3 and 4 leagues will remain suspended, with a first review scheduled for 16th December.
UPDATE DECEMBER 17th 2020Adrian Seddon writes:
