Whether or not the 2019-20 season ends up being abandoned, I hope that here is the best place to say what an amazing season we have had on the Armchair Army - thanks to FC radio.

The commentary has been superb, after the difficulty in transmitting many of the lowlights of our 4 turgid seasons in the Conference North., James, Swampy, Ben, Roy and everybody have just been brilliant - capturing our fantastic turnaround and revival. The highlight for me has been James amazing last few minutes’ commentary in the Kettering Trophy game, but really everything has been at such a high standard.

We are also blessed by the presence of Neil who comes over at the end of each game to give his immediate end of match reaction. It really has made me feel part of what has been achieved and I am so pleased for him and his successful team building.

I have sent a donation to the club in the name of the AA.

Wonderful comments, jdk. Brought a big smile to my face.

It truly has been a great season: we have a commentary team that I love to bits - passionate, witty, self-deprecating, friendly, and dynamic. In all, very special. And the same to be said for our incredible manager Reno, likewise my respected fellow AA members.

Thank you very much for sending a donation on our behalf. Hats (and masks) off to you. If we ever have a chance to meet, I’ll elbow bump you with my right hand, and pass you a pint with my left. :D

Just thought I'd float this idea on here. Couldn't we organise a virtual AAGDO on the forum hosted by FCUM Radio? Could coincide with what would have been the last game of the season. Can't remember the whole fixture list but have a feeling it could be next Saturday 25th (if we didn't have playoffs). I'll contact Ben and see if they're up for it

I endorse everything that’s already been said. Now it’s non techie Tim talking. I’ve been introduced to the Zoom app. Howzabout at 2pm UK ( not to clash with CYCM) us AAers Zoom together to share faces n bevvies together? I don’t know how to ‘chair’ it BUT I know a man who might. If interested pm your email address & cross everything you have. Ps thought I’d keep this to the AA thread otherwise it could be mobbed

Great meeting guys with our excellent surprise guest. Please do thank him for turning up - brilliant. I can host it next time to save us having to put 50p in the meter, to go beyond 40 minutes.

It would be interesting to see whether we could incorporate Zoom into a group chat with FCUM radio at matches next season. Perhaps there could be a half time slot or pre-or post match slot? With a 200 or so radio audience it might be a bit much, but perhaps worth a try.

Giddy as a kipper for today.

Would be well up for another Zoom. If not today (there's a lot going on today already with eCYCM starting at 1:30 and I bet the actual game will go into extra time, penalties, and don't forget us London minibus reds have been on the road for hours already) then deffo before the first pre season friendly.
