Morning all. Hoping for a go-for-it performance today, then I won’t mind if we lose. Worried that the occasion might make us over-cautious, or worse, paralyze what has become our fluent style of play.

To paraphrase the poet Tough Shit Eliot, I’d rather we go out with a bang rather than a whimper.

Looking forward to your company members of the AA in what I hope will be a great match!

Hola all from a sunny southern Spain.
Just back from hospital after dropping a friend off to visit her partner who had a blocked artery late Thursday evening. Within hours of going to our local Med centre he’d been ‘ambulanced’ to Malaga, scanned and had a stent fitted. Job done! He’s 53 but wasn’t looking after his BP or cholesterol so an early warning sign. I said I’d pick him up later if he was allowed home and he said aren’t FC playing today? I said yes to which he replied ‘I’ll be fine until the games over. Come after that. Top man eh?
VAMOS LOS ROJOS
